This heat transfer paper is specially designed for use with inkjet printers and works well with cotton, cotton blends, and synthetics. Using this transfer paper is incredibly straightforward, thanks to its simple instructions. Printing the image in reverse/mirrored format is the first step followed by trimming away the unprinted areas of the transfer. The substrate, whether it is a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or any other compatible material, must be clean, dry, and wrinkle-free before the transfer can be applied. The transfer is then placed on top of the garment with the image side touching the substrate (backing paper facing you). Using a commercial press, the transfer is pressed at 375°F for 30 seconds with medium/heavy pressure. The paper is then peeled while still hot in a smooth, even motion. Stretching the garment while it's hot produces the softest "hand" or texture. If using an iron, preheating it to the highest setting and using a smooth, hard surface is essential. Place a pillowcase on the surface and iron the pillowcase to remove any wrinkles. Then place the substrate on the pillowcase and iron it to eliminate wrinkles. Using both hands, slide the iron up and down (vertically) over the entire image for 90 seconds and repeat going from left to right (horizontally) for another 90 seconds. After completing ironing, the backing paper can be peeled off the image immediately.
